Day 014 - Year 0 - Latvia - 14.1.2019

So it came to this... Sooner or later I had to come to Latvia.

The company I work for works with a factory here in Latvia, exactly in Jelgava.

Yes, I know that most probably you never heard about it, neither have I.

So this city is close to Riga and is the 4th largest city in Latvia with close to 60.000 People.

I will read more about it (or not), and eventually I will write more (or not).

To get here I flew from Oslo in a very nice piece of equipment... from Air Baltic...

Bombardier Dash 8 Q-400

Noisier than jets, more vibration and less comfort, however for the 1,5h flight it was ok.

So, while I am here, lets see if the Little Green Men from the book I am reading don't decide to invade Latvia.... (reference to "Tom Clancy's Commander in Chief" by Mark Greaney)...

The book it is about invasion of Lithuania, but it is almost the same thing...
