Day 089 - Year 0 - It's a Small World 30.3.2019

The world is a very small planet (not flat).

I am sure that everyone found a friend somewhere in a completely un-expected time and location, or by some coincidence you find a person from your country.

Some examples:

- I found one Portuguese family descendent that they live in Australia and we were in China working in same project. How likely is to find someone talking Portuguese there? We are only 10 million.

- I met with a university colleague in Singapore recently, we never met again after 2002, and this happened because one day I remembered to send emails to long lost contacts and I found out he was there. If I travelled one week later I would also met another one that was also travelling to Singapore. Small world.

- And the last one, yesterday, I met a new Portuguese, friend of a friend that by coincidence is also friend with another 3 friends of mine. And we are not from the same city :O

Day 088 - Year 0 - Time goes by 29.3.2019

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

I write the present post to remind you to look at the current Gregorian calendar date. 

Have you by any chance noticed that the 3rd month of 2019 is almost over? That we have already went thru 1/4 of the year?

Yeap, you should start running now like headless chickens... It is that terrible.

While you recover I would like to wish you a happy 3/4 of 2019, and hope that this remaining 6/8 are much better that the first 4/16.

Day 087 - Year 0 - Spring is Coming 28.3.2019

The sun is starting to show off in Norway and the temperatures are going up.

Looks like the weather is really changing. Soon we will be able to change to summer tires and all the snow will be gone.

But, for now there is still not too much time to enjoy that as in the morning is still cold, and after work it is cold again. 

Maybe I should change to night shift.

Day 086 - Year 0 - Snow Climbing 27.3.2019

I have rode my bicycle previously in the snow, but never for so long  and so steep as today.

It was hard... well, the snow was soft, it was exactly like riding back home in Portugal in "Pinhal do Rei" where the trails have sand... same same, but not the same.

Beside not being fit, it took me a lot more time, really interesting seeing the time difference from September/October last year and today... (it was the snow, cof cof)..

On the top close to the Camping there was a Cross Country Sky event for kids, hundreds of them... for sure to close the season, as all of them were getting medals and arriving to finish line with smoke and lights. very nice.

Day 085 - Year 0 - Barbie's Cinema 26.3.2019

There are stuff that happens in our life that we really fell sorry for not having a camera 24/7 recording via your eyes (this reminds me Black Mirror S1E3 - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Entire_History_of_You).

So that is it.... Take 1

Barbie's Cinema - The Movie

[Scene 1]

The scene start with Beatriz entering the living room, wearing a long night dress (pyjama), and walking with the sunset light touching her long blonde hairs (not). The music starts playing, a crescendo from Enio Morricone, showing that a gun fight will happen pretty soon...

(Beatriz) Mamma, but the Barbies want to watch cinema, and the TV will be the screen.

(Eva) Beatriz, I am watching the news

(Beatriz) But I need to use the TV

(Eva) NO, NO, NO

(Beatriz) YES, YES, YES

(Eva) Grab the tablet and take it to your room and make the cinema there

(Beatriz) But the tablet is broken and does not work

(Eva) But the Barbies have plastic eyes that don't see.

(Beatriz) Mamma, the tablet is broken, but I want them to watch for real...

(Eva) Then, Houston, we have a problem!

(Beatriz) I think I will take mine and Pappa's computer.

(Eva) ok, sounds like a good idea...

[Scene 2]

The Barbies are watching Cinema in a improvised cinema. 2 of them, Barbie Doctor and Barbie Pregnant are in the VW Beetle like drive-in, eating popcorn and getting drunk with cheap beer (not)...

And they lived happily ever after.

.... Moral of the story.... I am about to loose my Chrome book, only because I taught her how to login with her credentials in this computer...
