Day 148 - Year 0 - Skates and Trampolines 28.5.2019

Today facebook told me that 3 years ago it was the day I bought my skateboard, and showed me Beatriz with 5 years old riding the scooter very comfortable downhill.

So I decided today to ride the marvellous wood with orange wheels skateboard to work.

It has been a while since I did it for the last time, however I am still able to do it. Who said a 40 year old could not skate?

If this was 30 years ago, I would probably get arrested as skateboard was forbidden in Norway until 1989 due to 28 deaths in the United States when it became mainstream, weird....

Beatriz today has a birthday party, and as I write she is jumping in a trampoline park with her colleagues from school.

Much much better than when I was young...

I wonder if I can join them... maybe I should sneak in and have some fun an joy..

Day 147 - Year 0 - Walk Walk Walk 27.5.2019

As everyone might have noticed, I have been exercising a bit since last year, and finally convinced my girls to participate.

So form today, we went for a walk all us 3 together with some shopping in between. 

The idea is to start making gradually longer walks. 

Today it was 3km after a long day of work/school, tomorrow let's see.

The challenge it is for the 3 of us to loose our bellies before the summer holidays!!

Challenge Accepted!!

Day 146 - Year 0 - Ride and Hot Dogs 26.5.2019

Nothing special, just a very long bike ride and a unexpected grill party with sea view... very nice day...

Day 145 - Year 0 - Harry Tur 26.5.2019

Tur in Norwegian mean Tour and Harry in Norwegian means something like redneck or someone not very bright or not very sophisticated, if it was Portuguese, I would say "A Volta dos Parolos"...

But why have we do it? Well, lets start on Norwegian Cuisine...

I would but there isn't one... Basically the food tradition in Norway is nonexistent and the variety of ingredients you can find around Norway is very reduced, tough it is much better than 5 years ago.

So it is very common just to drive to Sweden where right close to the border you can find a big shopping mall, and a big variety of meat that it is impossible to find in Norway, such as:

- "Moelas" - Chicken belly 
- Rabbit
- Beef without being ripped off
- Fish or frozen fish beside cod, salmon or "douradinhos" "fiske pinne"
- "Lulas" - Squid

Also alcohol and soft drinks are much cheaper there, however we are not going there for that.... a lot of "Harry's" are seen with that kind of goods. To be honest we also buy our quota of Beer.

And now, sorry my dear Norwegian friends.... but even sophisticated people go on the Mini-Harry-Tur, and this one happens in the arrivals of Gardermoen Airports.

When arriving from abroad, everyone (me included), runs for cheap wine and beer, cigarettes or Snus (Swedish thing, something like chewing tobacco) and some chocolates.

So, Moelas one of these days with Beer bought in Sweden, or some wine from the Airport... You are all invited...

Day 144 - Year 0 - The Greatest Showman 24.5.2019

So today after school and after dinner, the magnificent 3 went to the Church of Ullern (Ullern Kirke) to see Outdoor Cinema, and the movie was simply The Greatest Showman.

Very nice arrangement, sound, all almost good, since at 21:30 was still too bright, so the first half hour was not that nice.

But a very positive experience. 

We also learned that for next time, we should copy the others and also take blankets and pillows as the small sponge that we normally take for small tour were not big neither comfortable enough.

Day 143 - Year 0 - Iceberg - Navalha 23.5.2019

Today from deep down on the storage of youtube, it was found a preciosity that played many many years in Bambi and Hot-Rio Club, places of my childhood.

A close frien, explorer, with some DNA of Sir David Attenborough, a very experienced scuba-diver of the internet found this " Precious"...

So a let's listen to this wonderful 80's Song...

Day 142 - Year 0 - Energy - 22.5.2019

I am feeling a bit tired, and right now I just had a brilliant idea and discovered why, just like Einstein...

So basically it is really simple.. 

E=Mc²

Even tough I am still a bit heavy, because everything does not move at the speed I want... light speed, I am out of energy... maybe I need to change business.

Day 141 - Year 0 - Party! 21.5.2019

Little bear had a barbecue party at some school friends, the purpose was to gather money for school trip 3 years from now.

Obviously that parents had to join and pay the bill.

Nice talk and relaxing moments.

Day 140 - Year 0 - Slugs 20.5.2019

Here at home, we decided that everyday the 3 of us will do a walk before dinner.

Today, however, it was just pappa and the smaller one, mamma stayed home, lets say it was a tryout to see how it would go.

On the way on our slug speed we managed to find a Delicious to be cooked slug, or the remaining of one, apparently this one had "lost his head"..

The slugs we normally find around this latitude, are black or brown, so most likely we found something rare, a Zebra slug.. or Spotted Slug...

However, apparently it is called Limax Maximus... or Leopard Slug..

Apparently by reading wikipedia they are not common around here in the northern europe :)... it was a finding!!!

Day 139 - Year 0 - Sunday 19.5.2019

Oh sunday has arrived... and tomorrow is monday, again.

I don't wanna go to work, muahhhhh...

I am sure if I ask Beatriz she will tell me she does not want to go to school either.

I feel refreshed, so I took the machine out for a ride, a short one, 30km up in the mountain, up up an away as usual.

With what had rained the days before we really had to wash the bicycles after, and clothes, lots of mud...

Day 138 - Year 0 - Flu 18.5.2019

You might have noticed that yesterday the words were very short, in fact I was not very well, but today I feel much better, a new man.

This morning me and little bear went to Leo's Lekeland for some play together with some friends.

I took a book/kindle and while kids were playing, I just close my eyes on the sofa. Signs of ageing? maybe :) I was sick, I have an excuse...

We had lunch and Slush at Leo's Lekeland and spent the rest of the afternoon home.
